All items over $1000 are shipped with Fedex and are insured for the full retail value. A signature will be required upon receipt. Please note; if you make any changes to your delivery, such as releasing the item without a signature, the insurance is void and you will not be refunded if the package is lost or stolen. If you are not home to receive the package it will be held at your closest Fedex distribution center. If the package is not picked up by the recipient it will be returned to Janine de Dorigny and you will be refunded, less the cost of shipping. If the package is lost during delivery, at the fault of the courier service, you will be refunded for the item.
We are not responsible for any delays that may occur during shipping and urge you to track your package using the tracking ID provided prior to emailing our customer service. Refunds or discounts will not be issued because of delayed shipments. If you are concerned about the timely arrival of your package please contact us prior to making your purchase.
Customs / Import Taxes
Janine de Dorigny is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees that may be levied at the border of your home country, this is your obligation. We have no control over what packages are held at the border. Customs agents typically notify both senders and recipients when packages are held for outstanding duties. Should this happen and we are notified, we will make all reasonable attempts to let you know. However it is not our responsibility to ensure that you pay duties to have your packaged released.

Our boutique items may be returned within 10 days of delivery for an exchange or refund minus the cost of shipping. Returns will not be accepted after 10 days under any circumstances. For internet orders, the return/exchange policy begins the day the package is delivered. Items must be unaltered and in same condition as it was in before it left our workshop.
Made-to-order pieces, including rings altered in your size, custom orders are FINAL SALE — no refunds, no exchanges. Once a piece has been altered, including ring re-sizing, it is also FINAL SALE.
